The Tropical Sanctuary Ensuite
Transforming a dated, functional space into a high-end, five-star hotel experience, this ensuite renovation is a masterclass in modern luxury and structural precision. Our clients envisioned a sanctuary that was simultaneously bold and low-maintenance; we delivered by stripping the original layout to its bones to facilitate a complete top-to-bottom reconfiguration of the plumbing and electrical systems.
The Transformation
The centerpiece is a vibrant, tropical-print feature wall that breathes life into the room, perfectly contrasted by large-format stone-textured porcelain tiles. By replacing the corner unit with a sleek, walk-in shower and a sculptural freestanding soaking tub, we optimized the floor plan for a more open, airy feel.
Design Details
- Custom Vanity: A floating timber-and-matte-black vanity provides warmth and ample storage.
- Signature Lighting: Backlit circular mirrors and recessed niches create a soft, ambient glow.
- Premium Finishes: Matte black tapware and hardware offer a sophisticated, contemporary edge against the neutral palette.
The result is a sophisticated, “resort-at-home” retreat that blends organic textures with clean, minimalist lines—proving that even a private ensuite can be a bold design statement.
